Dragging and returning on many special character locations results in another, related special character.

For example: a drag-and-return p on $'s location enters a ¥ sign.

Another easy way to enter hundreds of special and accented character is to combine two characters into one. Combine means enter two characters, then drag up-left d on key A to turn these two characters into one.

For example, enter co and then a drag up-left on key A to get ©.

You can also combine two characters to create an accented character automatically, and without a drag-up-left d on key A on A. See next section for more details.
